About Jody Gladding
Jody Gladding (born 1955 in York, Pennsylvania) is an American poet and translator. She earned degrees from Franklin & Marshall College and Cornell University, and her debut poetry collection Stone Crop won the 1992 Yale Series of Younger Poets competition, selected by James Dickey. Gladding has published additional collections including Rooms and Their Airs, Translations from Bark Beetle, the spiders my arms, and I entered without words, and has translated over 40 books from French, earning awards like the French-American Foundation Translation Prize.
