J.K. Rowling

J.K. Rowling is a British author best known as the creator of the Harry Potter series. The Casual Vacancy (2012), her debut adult novel, won the Goodreads Choice Award for Fiction. She has also written crime fiction under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith.
