Jessie Bennett Sams (born 1909 in Alachua, Florida) was an African American author, elementary school teacher, painter, and ceramist who graduated from Florida A&M College and pursued graduate studies at the University of Southern California and the University of Colorado.Barnes & Noble, Anisfield-Wolf.
