Jean Rogissart

Jean Rogissart (1894-1961) was a French writer and teacher from the Ardennes region who won the prestigious Prix Renaudot in 1937 for his novel Mervale and the Prix du roman populiste for his seven-volume family saga Mamert, along with other awards for his poetry and novels depicting regional life.
