Javier Moro (born February 11, 1955, in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish writer renowned for his historical novels and biographical works based on real events. Notable works include Pasión India, El sari rojo, and El imperio eres tú, for which he won the prestigious Premio Planeta in 2011; he also received the Christopher Award in 2002 for Era medianoche en Bhopal (with Dominique Lapierre) and the Premio Primavera de Novela in 2018 for Mi pecado.
