James Longenbach

James Longenbach (1959-2022) was an American poet and literary critic renowned for his work on modernist poetry, including influential books like Stone Cottage: Pound, Yeats & Modernism (1988) and The Resistance to Poetry (2005), and poetry collections such as Earthling (2017, National Book Critics Circle Award finalist) and Forever (2021).
