About James Blish
James Blish (1921-1975) was an American science fiction and fantasy author best known for his Cities in Flight series and the novel A Case of Conscience, which won the 1959 Hugo Award for Best Novel. He also authored the influential series of Star Trek episode novelizations and was a pioneering critic of the genre under the pseudonym William Atheling Jr. earning posthumous induction into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2012.James Blish
