About Jacqueline Winspear
Jacqueline Winspear is an English mystery writer born in 1955 in Kent, England, best known for her Maisie Dobbs historical mystery series, which explores the aftermath of World War I and has won several awards including Agatha, Macavity, and Alex Awards for the debut novel. She emigrated to the United States in 1990, has published standalone novels like The Care and Management of Lies and The White Lady, a memoir, and continues to write with the latest Maisie Dobbs book in 2024.
