About Jacob Polley

Jacob Polley is a British poet and novelist who won the T.S. Eliot Prize in 2016 for Jackself (Picador Poetry). The collection reimagines childhood and selfhood through a northern English landscape and folklore. He is Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University and has previously won the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize.
