About Jack Womack
Jack Womack (born January 8, 1956, in Lexington, Kentucky) is an American author of speculative fiction, best known for his Dryco series including Ambient (1987), Terraplane (1988), Heathern (1990), Elvissey (1993), Random Acts of Senseless Violence (1995), and Going, Going, Gone (2000). He won the Philip K. Dick Award in 1993 (tie) for Elvissey, a major achievement in science fiction literature. Other works include the standalone novel Let's Put the Future Behind Us (1996) and nonfiction like Flying Saucers Are Real! (2016).
