J. G. Farrell

J.G. Farrell (1935-1979) was an English-born novelist of Irish descent best known for his Empire Trilogy—Troubles (1970, Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize and retrospective Lost Man Booker Prize 2010), The Siege of Krishnapur (1973, Booker Prize), and The Singapore Grip (1978)—which explore the decline of British colonialism.
