Ivana Sajko (born 1975 in Zagreb) is a Croatian playwright, novelist, and theater director renowned for her socio-political explorations in contemporary theatre and literature. Her notable works include the plays "Woman Bomb" (2003), "Archetype: Medea" (2000), and "Europa – Monologue for Mother Courage and Her Children" (2004), as well as the novel "Love Novel" (2015), which won the Internationaler Literaturpreis in 2018; she has also received Croatia's state prize for dramatic texts (1998) and the Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et Lettres.
