Intan Paramaditha

Intan Paramaditha is an Indonesian author and academic whose fiction often sits at the intersection of gender, folklore, and politics. She holds a PhD from New York University and teaches at Macquarie University in Sydney. The Wandering received the English PEN Translates Award. Night of a Thousand Hells, translated from the Indonesian by Stephen Epstein and Tiffany Tsao, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Translated Literature.
