Ina Cariño

Ina Cariño is a Filipinx American poet born in Baguio City, Philippines, who immigrated to the United States around age 10-11. They hold an MFA in creative writing from North Carolina State University and are the author of the award-winning debut poetry collection Feast (2023) and Reverse Requiem (forthcoming 2026). Cariño has received major accolades including the 2022 Whiting Award for poetry and the 2021 Alice James Award.
