Herman Wouk

Herman Wouk (1915-2019) was an American author renowned for his historical fiction, particularly war novels. His most notable works include The Caine Mutiny (1951), which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 1952, and the epic World War II sagas The Winds of War (1971) and War and Remembrance (1978). Other acclaimed books are Marjorie Morningstar (1955) and non-fiction like This Is My God (1959) Jewish Virtual Library.
