About Henry Adams
Henry Brooks Adams (1838–1918) was an American historian, memoirist, and novelist from the prominent Adams political family, descended from Presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams. He is best known for his nine-volume History of the United States (1801–1817) and the Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir The Education of Henry Adams, which was ranked the top nonfiction book of the 20th century by the Modern Library.
