About Helen Harris
Helen Harris is a British novelist born in 1946, best known for her novels including Playing Fields in Winter (1986), which won the Authors' Club Best First Novel Award, Angel Cake (1987), The Steppes of Paris (1990), Sylvia Garland's Broken Heart (2014), and The Brondesbury Tapestry (2018). She has published numerous short stories and teaches creative writing at Birkbeck College, University of London Hachette UK, Goodreads. No death date found; she appears to be living.
