Hannah Lillith Assadi

Hannah Lillith Assadi is an American novelist raised in Arizona by a Jewish American mother and Palestinian father. She is the author of Sonora, which received the Rosenthal Family Foundation Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and was a finalist for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize, and The Stars Are Not Yet Bells. Paradiso 17, published by Knopf, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Fiction. She was a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 honoree and teaches fiction at Columbia University and Pratt Institute. She lives in Brooklyn.
