Glenna Lang

Glenna Lang (born 1951) is an American author, illustrator, and graphic designer known for her children's books and works on urbanism, including Looking Out for Sarah (Schneider Family Book Award 2004), co-authored Genius of Common Sense: Jane Jacobs and the Story of The Death and Life of Great American Cities (2009 Notable Book by New York Times and Smithsonian Magazine, Kirkus Best Young Adult Book), and Jane Jacobs's First City: Learning from Scranton, Pennsylvania (2021). She studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (M.F.A. in printmaking), illustrates for publications like Atlantic Monthly and Boston Globe, and lectures at Tufts University, residing in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
