Giuseppe Pontiggia

Giuseppe Pontiggia (1934-2003) was an Italian novelist, essayist, and literary critic whose notable works include Il giocatore invisibile (1978), La grande sera (1989, Premio Strega), and Nati due volte (2000, Premio Campiello), the latter inspired by his experiences with his disabled son and adapted into film.
