Gianni Rodari

Gianni Rodari (1920-1980) was an Italian writer and journalist renowned for his children's literature. Born in Omegna, Italy, he began writing for children in the late 1940s while working for communist publications and received the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1970 for his contributions.
