About Gesualdo Bufalino

Gesualdo Bufalino (1920-1996) was an Italian writer born in Comiso, Sicily, who debuted late in life with the semiautobiographical novel Diceria dell'untore (1981), which won the Campiello Prize and drew from his tuberculosis sanatorium experiences.
