Georges Conchon

Georges Conchon (1925-1990) was a French novelist, journalist, screenwriter, and civil servant best known for his Prix Goncourt-winning novel L'État sauvage (1964), which critiques post-colonial Africa, and screenplays for films like La Victoire en chantant (Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, 1976).
