About G. Herbert Sallans

George Herbert Sallans (1895-1960) was a Canadian journalist and novelist whose debut novel Little Man (1942), a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story chronicling Canadian life through wars and economic upheavals, won the Governor General's Award for Fiction and the Ryerson Fiction Award.
