About Fulvio Tomizza

Fulvio Tomizza (1935–1999) was an Italian writer born in Giurizzani di Materada in Istria, known for his novels exploring themes of exile, identity, and the multicultural Istrian region, including his notable Istrian Trilogy: Materada (1960), La ragazza di Petrovia (1963), and Il bosco di acacie (1966), as well as La miglior vita (1977).
