Frédérick Tristan (Jean-Paul Frédéric Tristan Baron, 1931–2022) was a French writer renowned for his fantastical and dreamlike novels, including the Prix Goncourt-winning Les Égarés (1983), Les Tribulations héroïques de Balthasar Kober (1981), and La Cendre et la Foudre (1983).
