Frank Miller (born 1957) is an American comic book writer, artist, and filmmaker renowned for revolutionizing superhero comics with gritty, noir-influenced narratives in works like Daredevil (where he created Elektra), The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Year One, Sin City, and 300; he has won every major comic industry award and was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 2015.
