About Francesca Segal

Francesca Segal (born 1980) is a British author and journalist best known for her debut novel The Innocents (2012), which won the Costa Book Award for First Novel, National Jewish Book Award, Betty Trask Award, Sami Rohr Prize, and Harold U. Ribalow Prize, and was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction. Her other notable works include the novel The Awkward Age (2017) and the memoir Mother Ship (2019). She lives in London and is alive.
