About Frances Fyfield

Frances Fyfield, born Frances Hegarty on November 18, 1948, is an English crime fiction author and former lawyer who worked for the Metropolitan Police and Crown Prosecution Service. She is best known for her Helen West and Sarah Fortune series, with notable works including A Question of Guilt, Deep Sleep, and Blood From Stone, and has won the Crime Writers' Association Silver Dagger for Deep Sleep and Duncan Lawrie Dagger for Blood From Stone, among other accolades.
