Fernando Schwartz (born November 16, 1937, in Geneva) is a Spanish writer, diplomat, journalist, and television presenter best known for his novels including El desencuentro (1996, Premio Planeta winner) and Vichy 1940 (2006, Premio Primavera de Novela winner), as well as diplomatic memoirs like Educación y descanso.
