About Fernando Bermúdez de Castro

Fernando Bermúdez de Castro y Rebellón (1923–1999) was a Spanish lawyer and writer born in La Coruña, Galicia. He achieved literary fame by winning the prestigious Premio Planeta in 1958 for his only published novel, Pasos sin huellas, a semi-autobiographical story of a Galician student's adventures and romance in 1950s London, after which he retired from public life despite writing additional unpublished works.
