About Ernesto Ferrero
Ernesto Ferrero (1938-2023) was an Italian writer, literary critic, and translator best known for his novel N. (2000), which won the prestigious Strega Prize and depicted Napoleon's exile on Elba through his librarian's eyes, and Disegnare il vento (2011), a biographical novel about Emilio Salgari that earned the Premio Selezione Campiello.
