Elizabeth Orton Jones

Elizabeth Orton Jones (1910–2005) was an American author and illustrator of children's books, best known for her Caldecott Medal-winning illustrations in Prayer for a Child (1945) and Caldecott Honor for Small Rain: Verses from the Bible (1944), as well as her own stories like Twig and Big Susan.
