About Elizabeth A. Lynn

Elizabeth A. Lynn (born June 8, 1946) is an American fantasy author best known for her Chronicles of Tornor series, including Watchtower (1979), The Dancers of Arun (1979), and The Northern Girl (1980), as well as the novel A Different Light (1978) and the short story collection The Woman Who Loved the Moon (1981). She achieved pioneering status in speculative fiction by featuring positive gay and lesbian characters and relationships, with her novel Watchtower winning the World Fantasy Award for Best Novel in 1980 and the short story "The Woman Who Loved the Moon" winning the World Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction that same year.
