Eileen McNamara (born 1952) is an American author and journalist who spent nearly 30 years at The Boston Globe, winning the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1997 and contributing to the paper's Pulitzer-winning coverage of the Catholic Church abuse scandal. Her most notable work is the biography Eunice: The Kennedy Who Changed the World (2018), alongside others like Breakdown: Sex, Suicide and the Harvard Psychiatrist (Edgar Award finalist, 1994).
