Edmond Jaloux

Edmond Jaloux (1878-1949) was a French novelist, essayist, and critic whose works often depicted life in Paris and his native Provence, reflecting influences from German Romanticism and English literature. His most notable work, Le Reste est silence, won the Prix Femina in 1909, and he was elected to the Académie française in 1936. Olympedia
