Ed Yong

Edmund Soon-Weng Yong (born December 17, 1981, in Malaysia) is a British-American science journalist and author known for his books I Contain Multitudes (2016) and An Immense World (2022), the latter winning the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Nonfiction and the Royal Society Trivedi Science Book Prize. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting in 2021 for his COVID-19 coverage at The Atlantic, among other honors including the George Polk Award. [Pulitzer.org], [EdYong.me]
