Donovan Hohn (born 1972 in San Francisco, California) is an American author, essayist, and editor best known for his nonfiction work exploring the intersections of nature, science, and human adventure. He is the author of Moby-Duck (2011), a New York Times Notable Book and PEN award finalist that chronicles his global quest tracing spilled bath toys, and The Inner Coast: Essays (2019). A former senior editor at Harper's Magazine and features editor at GQ, he has received the Whiting Award, NEA Fellowship, and teaches creative writing at Wayne State University.
