About Don McKay

Don McKay (born 1942) is a Canadian poet, editor, and educator known for his nature-infused poetry exploring birds, geology, and wilderness. His notable works include Night Field (1991) and Another Gravity (2000), both winners of the Governor General's Award, Strike/Slip (2006, Griffin Poetry Prize), and Angular Unconformity (2014), a collected poems volume; he was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2008.
