Didier Decoin

Didier Decoin is a French novelist, screenwriter, and former journalist born on March 13, 1945, in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, who won the prestigious Prix Goncourt in 1977 for his novel John l'Enfer. Among his most notable works are La Femme de chambre du Titanic (adapted into film) and Le bureau des jardins et des étangs, and he has served as a member and president of the Académie Goncourt since 1995.
