Diane Cook

Diane Cook is an American fiction writer and former radio producer for This American Life. Her debut short story collection Man V. Nature (2014) was a finalist for the Guardian First Book Award and the Los Angeles Times Art Seidenbaum Award. Her debut novel The New Wilderness (2020) was shortlisted for the Booker Prize 2020 and longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction. Cook's fiction explores ecological themes and survival.
