Diana Gabaldon

Diana Gabaldon (born January 11, 1952) is an American author best known for her Outlander series, which blends historical fiction, romance, science fiction, and adventure, along with the Lord John spin-off series. She has won awards including the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award for Outlander (1991) and the Quill Award for A Breath of Snow and Ashes (2005), with her books selling over 50 million copies worldwide.
