About David Walton

David Walton (born October 26, 1975) is an American science fiction and fantasy author based in Philadelphia, best known for his novels Terminal Mind, which won the 2008 Philip K. Dick Award, and The Genius Plague, recipient of the 2018 John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. His other notable works include the Superposition duology, the Quintessence series, Three Laws Lethal—a Wall Street Journal pick for Best SF Novel of 2019—and the Living Memory trilogy.
