About David Peace

David Peace (born 1967) is an English novelist best known for his Red Riding Quartet, GB84, The Damned Utd, Red or Dead, and the Tokyo Trilogy, which explore themes of mental breakdown, police corruption, industrial strife, and post-war Japan. Fiction. Named one of Granta's Best of Young British Novelists in 2003, he won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for GB84 in 2005. Faber.
