David Foster Wallace

David Foster Wallace (1962-2008) was an American author renowned for his novels, short stories, and essays that offered incisive, satirical explorations of American culture. His seminal work Infinite Jest (1996) earned acclaim as one of Time's 100 best English-language novels since 1923, and he received a MacArthur Fellowship in 1997.
