Daniel Orozco

Daniel Orozco is an American writer of fiction known primarily for his short stories. His best-known story, "Orientation," appeared in The Best American Short Stories 1995, and his debut collection Orientation and Other Stories was published in 2011. Born in 1957 in Daly City, California, to Nicaraguan immigrants, he has taught creative writing at institutions including Stanford and the University of Idaho.Daniel Orozco
