Dana Levin

Dana Levin (born 1965) is an American poet known for her image-driven free-verse collections that engage with personal and spiritual themes. She grew up in California's Mojave Desert, earned degrees from Pitzer College and New York University, and has taught creative writing at institutions including Maryville University. Her work has earned major awards including the American Poetry Review/Honickman First Book Prize, PEN/Osterweil Award, Whiting Award, and Guggenheim Fellowship.
