About Colin Dexter
Norman Colin Dexter (1930-2017) was an English crime writer best known for his Inspector Morse series of 13 novels, starting with Last Bus to Woodstock in 1975, which were adapted into the popular ITV series Inspector Morse and its spin-offs Lewis and Endeavour. He won multiple Crime Writers' Association awards, including two Silver Daggers, two Gold Daggers, and the Cartier Diamond Dagger for lifetime achievement in 1997, and was appointed OBE for services to literature.
