Colin Asher

Colin Asher is an American writer. He is the author of Never a Lovely So Real, a biography of Nelson Algren. The Midnight Special, published by W. W. Norton & Company, was longlisted for the 2026 National Book Award for Nonfiction. His work has appeared in The Believer, The Baffler, The New Republic, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He lives in Brooklyn.
