Claire Kilroy

Claire Kilroy is an Irish novelist born in Dublin in 1973. She studied English Literature at Trinity College Dublin. Her novels include Tenderwire (2006), All Summer (2003), All Names Have Been Changed (2009), and The Devil I Know (2012). Soldier Sailor (2023) was longlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction 2024 and won the An Post Irish Book of the Year award. The novel is a visceral portrait of new motherhood.
